A Bit of Church Renovation History …
On Nov 3, there was a general informational meeting regarding repairs/ renovations to the Sanctuary. This meeting was designed to inform the congregation prior to the vote on Nov 10th. Repairs to the sanctuary, especially the updating of the electrical portion of the renovations are higher than originally anticipated earlier in the summers. The building committee provided a general overview of the suggested projects with more up to date cost.
On Nov 10th, the congregation voted to proceed with the sanctuary updates and voted on the financial support of the renovations. If you wish to contribute to the renovations, please contact Troy or Donna.
During the week of November 25th, renovations began with the washing of the sanctuary roof and removal of the gutters.
On Sunday, December 29th,following a brief worship service, the congregation cleared the sanctuary in preparation of interior renovations.
Worship services will be held in the Parish Hall during the interior renovations.

Following worship, we all gather for a delicious meal with yummy desserts while watching a powerpoint of the congregations of Greenvine, past and presents. Blessing Box
A Blessing Box has been placed outside the White Horse Tavern in Burton. The purpose of the box is to provide anyone in need with food. The food might provide some relief so that utilities bills or rent can be paid! Summer is a particular hard time for kids since many rely on daily meals provided through the schools. Consider donating easy to open items for children, dried goods, or canned goods, or easy to prepare items that can survive the summer heat for the Blessing Box.
These items can be placed in the narthex of the church or directly in the Blessing Box.
Christ in Our Home
Daily devotions are available in the church’s narthex.
